The Mexican Caribbean Coast as a kite spot

Stretching along the Caribbean coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, the Mexican Caribbean Coast is one of the most beautiful coastlines on earth — and a world-class kitesurfing destination. Shallow lagoons, white sand beaches, and crystal-clear turquoise waters create ideal conditions for all levels — from first sessions in protected flat water to long rides along the open reef. Side-onshore winds ranging from 10 to 25 knots keep things reliable and varied, and the season runs from November to May — peak season for sun when Europe and North America are in the depths of winter.
