Jamile grew up in Cumbuco, where the trade winds blow from July to January and the beach is her backyard. She discovered kitesurfing at 16 and never looked back. After joining the Rise with the Wind program in 2024, she became one of the first IKO-certified women instructors in her community — a title she wears with pride and uses to inspire others.

Patient, passionate, and deeply knowledgeable about the local waters, Jamile teaches beginners and intermediates with the kind of calm confidence that only comes from someone who truly loves what they do.
